Scope of First Responder Training:
This course is designed to familiarize students
with the aspects of emergency medical care. Topics include
Emergency Medical Services Systems, roles and responsibilities
of the First Responder, and Medical Oversite.
First Responder Course Objective:
On completion of the course, students should be able to:
- Access and evaluate what is wrong
- Lift or move the patient when required
- Transfer a patient
- Obtain patient information
